Since 2009 Earthwise Community has undertaken the installation of solar panels, a rainwater tank, a heat pump and other nifty energy and water saving technologies. These have been installed as part of a Lotterywest funded project to make Earthwise a more sustainable community, but also to provide a demonstration site where people can come and see how an existing building can be retrofitted with environmental technology.
